Was supposed to be a 20m ride around Miramar Lake but my chain broke as I was coming out of the saddle on one of the turns and I ended up going over the handlebars. Took 20 minutes or so to get my chain repaired then I was out of time and enthusiasm so I came home.
Yes, there’s a ding on my frame, but no, it’s just the paint. Bent my saddle a little - took me awhile to figure that out (bike went upside down).

Important thing is that the bike is ok. Bones heal, blood clogs, but carbon fiber doesn’t like crashes.
Yeah, and the mom’s group ahead of me on the road didn’t see me either.

You’ll be happy to know the jersey is fine. Rash is small, but sticky - didn’t we just have that conversation about benefits of shaving?
Costco has a good deal on razors. Either that or wax on, wax off!
