		<description>I started around 6:30 AM and even then, the heat going into Ramona was brutal. The purple monster was no worse than any of the climbs of the Alpine Challenge but the heat was hugely dangerous to cyclists who weren't watching their hydration and power output. I really felt for the cyclists that I saw coming up that hill when I was on my way back.

I don't know if it's something that could have been done on a whim like you attempted.

Congrats on the strong finish and taking a lesson in humility to heart!</description>
