		<description>Look at it like this... your legs are tired but at the same time getting stronger.  As you recover, your muscle fibers heal and build to endure more.  Hard to be patient sometimes... I have to remind myself of that.</description>

		<description>I remember a big week vacation in the alps and I arrived at the base of Alpe d'Huez and couldn't pedal.  I couldn't get my heart rate out of the 120's - my legs were cooked.

I needed a rest so bad and the older I get the more valuable rest days are (early 40s  here)

Cycling is so much more fun rested .... but I (and I suspect you) hate rest days.  :)
