On today’s ride, my odometer clicked past the 6,000 mile mark for the year. I checked google maps and it is 3,031 miles from my house in San Diego to Boston, MA. So, in 2008 I effectively rode my bike from San Diego to Boston and back.

Palomar Mountain is one of the highest peaks in San Diego County, rising to 6,140 feet within sight of the Pacific Ocean. Its South Grade Road offers 4,700 feet of spectacular climbing over 13 miles.
